All games will be played in a tournamnent style. For each game that is played, you must win in order to advance to the next round. Therefore, if you do not win, you are to be disqualified from the game competion. For each team game, there will be two players assigned to each team. One team member must be blind or visually impaired and the other must serve as the guide. For each individual game, contestants must be blind or visually impaired and others must wear a blindfold. There will be three winning spots for each game being 1st place [gold], 2nd place [silver], and 3rd place [bronze].
Meet at the Havana Bar between the times of 11:00 AM and 11:45 AM on October 28th to register for the Wisdom 4 The Blind Olympic Games and learn the rules of all of the events.
The Bike Racing At Sea competition will take place on October 30th from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM at the gym bikes.
Bike Racing At Sea is a game that will be played to see how fast you really are. Each player must be blind or visually impaired or wear a blindfold. Each player will get on a cycling bike and will be competing against each other as a cyclist. Each player will have to cycle for 1 mile and whoever completes their mile the fastest wins.
Bike Racing At Sea Rules:
Objective: Cycle a mile on a cycling bike as fast as you can.
Players: Must be blind or visually impaired or wear a blindfold
