All games will be played in a tournamnent style. For each game that is played, you must win in order to advance to the next round. Therefore, if you do not win, you are to be disqualified from the game competion. For each team game, there will be two players assigned to each team. One team member must be blind or visually impaired and the other must serve as the guide. For each individual game, contestants must be blind or visually impaired and others must wear a blindfold. There will be three winning spots for each game being 1st place [gold], 2nd place [silver], and 3rd place [bronze].
Meet at the Havana Bar between the times of 11:00 AM and 11:45 AM on October 28th to register for the Wisdom 4 The Blind Olympic Games and learn the rules of all of the events.
The Swim Racing At Sea Relay competition will take place on October 31st from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the pool.
Swim Racing At Sea Relay is a game that will be played to test your swimming skills. Each team will have up to 2 players and must be blind or visually impaired or wear a blindfold. Each team member will be up against another swimmer that is blind or visually impaired or is wearing a blindfold. Each swimmer will swim to one end of the pool. When the first team member reaches the opposite end of the pool and pops their head out of the water, the other team member will be able to begin to swim to the other end of the pool. Whichever team is able to swim the length of the pool the fastest wins the game.
Swim Racing At Sea Relay Rules:
Objective: Each team will be tasked with swimming the length of the pool as fast as they can
