LeBron James and LeBron James Jr. made NBA history as the first father and son duo to play together in the NBA on the same team. On Tuesday, October 22nd, the Los Angeles Lakers played the Minnesota Timberwolves. Prior to entering the game together, LeBron James Sr. gave his son LeBron James Jr. a pep talk. As they walk to the scorer's table together to enter the game, there was a prevelant occurance of rising cheers as they stepped into NBA history.
LeBron James Sr. says that checking into the game with his son will be a moment that he will never forget. Sr. says, "No matter how old I get, no matter how my memory may fade as I get older or whatever, I will never forget that moment."
LeBron James Sr. is one of the greatest NBA players that the world has ever seen. He is a four-time NBA champion and a 20-time All Star. As LeBron James Sr. reaches the end of his career, the career of his son, LeBron James Jr. is just beginning. As Sr. looks to pass the torch, he has checked off an amazing goal off of his bucket list, with being able to play with his oldest child and oldest son.
