  • Animal Kingdom: The upcoming Tropical America’s land will include an Indiana Jones attraction and a new area inspired by Encanto, opening in 2027.
  • Disneyland: Avatar will arrive at Disney’s California Adventure, inspired by The Way of Water. The Avengers Campus will also double in size, adding two new attractions centered on Marvel characters.

International and Cruise Expansions

Disney’s international parks are also getting exciting updates:

  • Disneyland Paris: A Lion King-themed area with a log flume attraction and a Frozen-themed land opening in 2026.
  • Shanghai: A new Spider-Man thrill coaster is coming.
  • Tokyo: A new nighttime spectacular, Reach for the Stars, will debut in September.

Disney’s cruise line will see a major expansion, with four new ships joining the fleet between 2027 and 2031.

Collaborations with Epic Games

In a major partnership with Epic Games, Disney announced that characters from Disney Animation, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm will soon be joining Fortnite, bringing fan-favorite characters like Cruella, Maleficent, and Doctor Doom into the game.
