The second annual Feel 2 See Deep Sea Fishing Trip, presented by Wisdom 4 the Blind and the Florida BVA Regional Group, has become a highly anticipated event within our community. Over the past two years, this excursion aboard the Double Eagle has offered an incredible opportunity for fun, adventure, and camaraderie, solidifying its place as a beloved tradition.
With two successful trips under our belt, we are proud to reflect on the remarkable experiences we’ve shared. Our most recent trip saw an impressive turnout of 40 enthusiastic participants, all eager to experience the thrill of deep-sea fishing guided by the dedicated crew of the Double Eagle and supported by their caretakers.
The Double Eagle Experience
The Double Eagle has played a crucial role in the success of our fishing trips. The crew’s expertise and unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone have been instrumental. They provided guided assistance to all participants, allowing those with visual impairments to fully engage in the fishing process.
A Hands-On Adventure
One of the most memorable aspects of the Feel 2 See Deep Sea Fishing Trip is the hands-on interaction with the catch. At the end of each trip, participants get to hold their lines and feel the weight of the fish they’ve caught. This unique sensory experience brings the thrill of fishing to life. It’s a moment of pride and achievement, as each person gets to feel the tangible results of their efforts.
Building Camaraderie and Joy
Beyond the fishing itself, these trips have fostered a strong sense of community and camaraderie. Participants and their caretakers have the chance to bond, share stories, and create lasting memories with other participants. The shared experience of fishing, combined with the supportive environment, has strengthened relationships and built new friendships.
